In "Cabela's Outdoor Adventures" for the Nintendo Wii, players will at one point go on a duck hunting trip. Before players are able to begin hunting, the game requires them to first enter a tree stand. The tree stand is meant to camouflage the player high among a tree's branches, so that hapless ducks are not scared off by their presence. Shooting from the tree stand also provides players with an advantageous vantage point from which to hunt ducks.

Approach the tree stand with your character.

Hold the "C" button down on the Wiimote in order to open your inventory.

Select the duck call item in your inventory, and press the "Z" button to use it. Only after using the duck call will the tree stand become available to select.

Aim your character at the tree stand, and press the "A" button to enter it.
