How to Kill a Splatter on Epic Mickey

"Epic Mickey," the 2010 release from Disney Interactive Media, is an intuitive game that learns from your style of play. The game and the ending change based on whether you proceed through the levels by befriending the characters you meet or defeating them. Mickey Mouse has been cast into an epic Wasteland, and needs to put things right, using only paint and paint thinner as his tools. Splatters are one of the enemies you will meet as you play, and must be conquered or befriended when you encounter them.

Things You'll Need

Wii gaming console
Wii controller
Wii nunchuck

Instructions

- 1
  Complete the paintbrush tutorial at the beginning of the game. The blue paint and green thinner will not be available until you do the tutorial.

  Leave Dark Beauty's castle and begin to explore. You will soon begin to encounter Splatters.

  Aim the Wii remote at the Splatter on the screen and center the firing target on the creature.

  Press the "Z" button located on the bottom of the nunchuck to release a burst of green Thinner. Tap the button for a short burst, or hold it down for a stream.

  Continue to tap the "Z" button or hold it down until the Splatter is dead. It will melt into a puddle when you have killed it.
