Rankings
Each mission will reward you with a ranking upon completion. Ace is the highest, and you will want to try for your "Ace" in every mission. When you get a high ranking, new planes and paint jobs will unlock as you progress through the game. The new planes are invaluable as you face harder opponents in later levels.
Play Arcade Mode
Arcade mode allows you to familiarize yourself with the handling and special benefits of your new planes and also counts toward the "Ace of Aces" medal that you can earn by being an "Ace" in every mission. Arcade mode will let you practice until you feel ready to try the next campaign mission.
Cheats
You can use cheats in "Blazing Angels" to level the playing field and help you earn better rankings and medals. For "God Mode," press and hold (-) then press 1, 2, 1 then 2. For more weapon damage, press and hold (-) then press 2, 1, 1 then 2. A message will appear if you've entered the codes correctly. For all the planes, missions and paint jobs unlocked, press and hold (-) and (+), then press the D-Pad left, right, followed by pressing 1, 2, 2 then 1.
South African Pictures Mission
During the mission where you must take pictures of the Nazis in South Africa, there are a couple of shortcuts that will let you complete the level faster. Play the level up to the part where you search for the Nazi groups to get an idea of where everything is on the map. This will save you a lot of time searching for things when you play the level again. When you find the first group of Nazis, kill them all then kill yourself. After restarting, when you return to the same spot, there is a good chance they will be there again, and they will count as the second group as well.
Download a Save
There are gaming websites that allow you to download save files for games like "Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII." You will need an SD card to save the file, then transfer it from the SD card to your Wii memory.
