How to Catch Ralts Early in Pokemon Diamond

Ralts is a Psychic-type Pokemon that can evolve into Kirlia, which, in turn, can evolve into Gardevoir. In "Pokemon Diamond," the Pokedex describes Ralts as a Pokemon that can sense human emotion. To catch a Ralts during the daytime, you need a Poke Radar, which you cannot acquire until late in the game. If you want to catch a Ralts early in the game, you need to look for it during the morning or at night.

Instructions

  Travel to either Route 203 or Route 204 during the morning or at night. Route 203 is located to the east of Jubilife City, while Route 204 is located to the north of Jubilife City.

  Roam through these regions and seek out random encounters with wild Pokemon until you find a Ralts. There is a one in five chance that any given Pokemon you encounter here will be a Ralts, which will be between levels four and six.

  Attack the Ralts. Battle it with Dark, Bug or Ghost-type Pokemon; Ralts is vulnerable to them. Throw a Poke Ball to capture it when it is weakened.
