How to Make the Luigi Cyclone Go Upward

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl," the third in the Smash Bros. series, provides long-term players with more opportunities to find new battle tactics. Luigi, a star character in Super Mario, features an arsenal of upward attacks that some players may find predictable. But using Luigi's cyclone attack vertically could catch your Brawl buddy off-guard.

     Recover from a knock-down or leap into the air. The attack should begin when Luigi can almost touch the ground.

     Push "Down" and the "B" button to perform Luigi's traditional cyclone.

     Press the "B" button immediately and continuously. The faster you respond, the more effective the upward cyclone will be.
