Wireless Connection
Turn on the Wii, select the "Wii" icon on the Wii Channel Menu, then select "Wii Settings."
Click the arrow on the right side of the screen to go to the second page. Select "Internet," then select "Connection 1: None."
Click "Wireless Connection," "Search for Access Point," then click "OK" and select the name of your wireless network. If the network is secured, use the on-screen keyboard to enter the password.
Click "OK" and select "Save Settings." Select "Yes" to run a connection test. If the connection is successful, the Wii will use the settings automatically when connecting online. If the test is unsuccessful, the problem and solution will be displayed.
Wired Connection
Turn the Wii off. Insert the Wii LAN Adapter to the USB port on the back of the Wii. Connect one side of an Ethernet cable into the "Ethernet" port on the Wii LAN Adapter and connect the opposite side into any of the numbered Ethernet ports on the back of the Belkin router.
Turn the Wii on. Select the "Wii" icon on the Wii Channel Menu, then select "Wii Settings."
