How to Play the Two Player Mode for the Super Mario Bros. 3 Virtual Console

"Super Mario Bros. 3" is a side-scrolling platforming game originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. In 2007, Nintendo re-released the game on the Nintendo Wii as a virtual console title. Like the original, the Wii version features both one- and two-player action, allowing you and a friend to take turns playing through the game's 70-plus levels. The Wii version allows you to use either the Classic controller designed for Virtual Console titles, a Nintendo GameCube controller or the Wii Remote.
