How-to Guide for The Sims 2: Pets on Wii

"The Sims 2: Pets" is a life-simulation game featuring pets that was released by Electronic Arts for the Nintendo Wii in mid-2007. Because of the way players must control games on the Wii, the controls in this version of the game are significantly different from the PC version. The key to succeeding in "The Sims 2: Pets" is mastering the unfamiliar controls. Both the Wii remote and the nunchuk device are required.

Instructions

  Move the analog stick on the nunchuk to move your Sim. Press "B" on the Wii remote to center the camera on the Sim you are controlling. Hold down the "B" button to switch active Sims.

  Press the "+" button on the remote to pause the game.

  Press "A" on the remote to interact with objects. Press the "-" button to cancel the interaction.

  Press "Left" on the directional pad to view your Sim's wants. Press "Up" to view its current motives. Press "Right" to check the status of your Sim's relationships.

  Press "C" and the "-" button at the same time to pause the timer. Press "C" and the "+" button to fast-forward through time.
