Resident Evil 4 Wii Instructions

Resident Evil 4 is a survival horror game, where players must use all their skills to stay alive and escape a zombie infested Spanish countryside. Players control Leon, a secret agent sent to this remote region to find the president's kidnapped daughter, Ashley, and investigate the possible threat of a "T-Virus" outbreak. Upon arriving in a small village, Leon encounters a cult worshipping the T-Virus, who use it to transform into zombies and other horrible monsters. The game is a mix of action and puzzle solving, where the most important skill is to conserve you supplies as long as possible.

Instructions

  Insert the Resident Evil 4 Wii Disk in the Nintendo Wii. Select the Resident Evil 4 Icon in the Wii menu screen. Press the A button on the game menu screen to start a new game.

  Move the player through the game world with the Wii Nunchuck control stick. Rotate the camera with the control pad on the Wii remote. Hold the "Z" button on the Nuchuck and use the control stick to run.

  Enter the options screen by pressing the "2" button. Use the Nunchuck control stick to cycle through options such as a map screen, attache case, keys and treasures page, and game notes. Press "A" to choose an option and explore the details of the option.

  Press "A" while the cursor is hovering over an item in the attache case to open the options for the item. Select "Move" to move the item, "Use" to consume the item, "combine" to combine the item with others, and "equip" to equip the item as a weapon. Press "B" to rotate the item in the attache case.

  Aim the equipped weapon by pointing the Wii Remote at the screen and holding the "B" button. Press A to shoot. Reload the equipped weapon by shaking the Wii remote while holding "B." Attack with the knife by pressing the "A" button or holding the "C" button and shaking the Wii Remote.

  Explore the game world to find Ashley and escape the zombie infested countryside. Break boxes and doors to reveal items and new areas. Pick up items with the "A" button. To control Ashley once she is found, press the "+" button to toggle between keeping her stationary or following Leon.
