Things You'll Need
Instructions
Starting the game with a child
Insert "The Sims 2: Pets" expansion pack into the Nintendo Wii. After booting up, either start a new Sims game or continue an existing file.
Go into the Create a Family mode. When creating a Sim, choose the "Child" age group. Finish creating the Sim and continue adding other Sims.
Add at least one adult Sim to the family, as children are not allowed to live alone in the Sims. Save your family and move it into a home or empty plot.
Having a Baby
Make a new family with an adult Sim, or a male and female Sim whose relationship is set as "married." Start the game with this family and move them into any existing house or plot.
Command the Sims spouses to interact with each other repeatedly to build up their relationship. As their relationship increases, more romantic options will open up. If you are using a single Sim, building a relationship with a member of the opposite sex is considerably harder, as they start off with no pre-existing relationship. Romance the other Sim by having them kiss, flirt and dance until their relationship reaches about 80%.
Purchase a double bed from the Buy menu if you don't already have one in the house. Have one of the Sims use the "Lie in bed" option on the double bed. Then move the pointer to the other Sim, and select the "Invite to Join" command. Whether the other Sim accepts this invitation depends on their relationship and their mood. Make sure both Sims are in a good mood when attempting to get them to romance each other.
Wait for the other Sim to join the first Sim in bed, then click on the latter Sim. Romance the Sim by selecting romantic options in the menu such as "Flirt," "Caress" and "Make Out." Eventually, you will be able to select the "Try for Baby" option. If both parties are ready, they will begin to "woohoo" under the sheets, and an animation will play. If the inception was successful, you will hear the beginning of "Rock-a-Bye Baby." If you did not, you will have to repeat the process.
Play through the next three in-game days until the baby is born. Help the pregnant Sim by ensuring that she is in a good mood and making other Sims do as many of the jobs as they can. If your pregnant Sim has a job, she will be given maternity leave. After those three in-game days are over, the baby will be born and will appear in a bassinet.
