Purchase a mixer. You will need a mixer to make any kind of perfume in your kitchen. You can purchase a mixer for 1200G to 1500G in the General Store anytime from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (game time), any day of the week but Monday. You can use any of the four designs of mixers. There is no difference between mixers other than the color schemes.
Wait for Taylor's appearance. You need roses to make red perfume and you can only buy rose seeds from the little boy named Taylor. Taylor will appear in early Year 2 if you've successfully unlocked at least one rainbow by the end of summer Year 1.
Purchase rose seeds. Roses are a fall crop, so you can only grow roses in the autumn. You can buy rose seeds from Taylor's Seeds shop year-round for 105G each. Stockpile the seeds and plant them only in the fall.
Grow at least two roses. Roses take six days to grow in the fall season. You must water the seeds once a day. Notice that you can make only 100G by selling a grown rose. You make less on the grown flower than you paid to purchase the seeds. This is why you should give roses as gifts or make red perfume to sell. You can save your roses in your rucksack or cupboard in order to continue to make red perfume even when the fall season passes.
Blend two roses in your mixer. Stand in front of your mixer in your kitchen and select two roses as the ingredients. Choose the "Start" option. After the animation of the mixer working, you will receive red perfume. You can give red perfume as a gift or sell it for 210G.
