How to Unlock Wolf in Subspace Emissary

Win 450 Brawls

  Play and win 450 matches in any of the game's offline modes.

  Speed through the process by going into Group mode. Select Special Brawl and adjust the "% Stamina" setting to "Stamina".

  Begin a match picking any character you want. Select a CPU opponent. Adjust the CPU's health points to 1 and the difficulty to Puny.

  Play the match and hit your opponent. It only has 1 HP so it will instantly die, giving you a win. Repeat this until Wolf unlocks.

Subspace Emissary

  Complete the Subspace Emissary campaign. This can be done on any difficulty with any character.

  Beat the Subspace Emissary, which creates a hidden door in the Ruins stage. To reach the door, proceed through the level as normal until you come to an elevator with purple gem spikes coming out of the walls.

  Ride the elevator down, which takes you to a red door but do not take this door. Continue riding the elevator down to the bottom of the shaft. A second door floats above the ground. Hop up and enter the door to battle Wolf.

  Beat Wolf in the match, unlocking his character.

Boss Battle Mode

  Complete both the Subspace Emissary and Classic game mode. Completing both these modes once will unlock a the Boss Battle mini-game in Stadium mode.

  Begin a Boss Battle game using either Fox or Falco. Wolf will only unlock in this mode using these two characters. Set the difficulty to the lowest setting to make the bosses easier to defeat.

  After finishing the last boss you will be challenged by Wolf. Defeat him and he will unlock.
