Knowing how to find the pencils in "MySims Kingdom" can make the difference between obtaining new pieces of furniture and not being able to spruce up your Sim's house. To unlock new pieces of furniture, you must collect scrolls, which you can acquire by finding knickknacks, such as pencils. The pencils are easy to find; you just need to know where to look for them.

      Visit King Roland's Castle on Capital Island, which is accessible at the beginning of the game (you start the game on the island, where you work as a farm hand).

      Click on the castle or door and then choose to "Enter." Go to the castle's library.
