How to Play 4 Instruments on Rock Band Wii

"Rock Band" is a musical game released on the Nintendo Wii in 2008. Unlike "Guitar Hero," there is no place to put the Wii remote in the instrument, making it impossible to use a wireless connection to the Wii. With only two USB ports on the console, you may wonder how to play with all four instruments. If you purchased the full band set with "Rock Band," it comes with a USB splitter for this very purpose.

Instructions

  Turn over the Nintendo Wii and locate the USB ports. These are on the backside of the console near the top.

  Attach the USB splitter to one of the two available USB ports.

  Attach all four instruments to the USB splitter. The drums, both guitars and the microphone all have USB cables that will fit snugly into the four ports of the splitter, side by side.

  Press the "RB" button on both guitars and the drums. This will power them on. The microphone will always be powered on as long as it is attached via USB.
