Bowling Setup
Hold the Wii remote in the same hand with which you would roll a bowling ball, and secure your wrist in the attached strap. Press "Left" or "Right" on the directional pad to move your bowler to the left and right to line up the shot. Press "Up" to zoom your view down the lane. Press "Up" again to zoom out.
Rolling the Ball
Hold down the "B" button on the underside of the Wii remote. Bring the controller up to your chest and then swing it back. Swing it forward as if rolling a real bowling ball and then let go of the "B" button at the bottom of your swing. Twist the Wii remote left or right as you release the ball to give it spin. In general, you should line up slightly to the left or right of the head pin and give it spin so that the ball hits the "pocket" between the head pin and the second row of pins. This will increase your chances of scoring a strike.
Changing Ball Color
Hold the directional pad in various directions as the screen fades to black just before you begin the bowling game to change the ball color. Hold "Up" for a blue ball, "Right" for a gold ball, "Left" for a red ball and "Down" for a green ball. You can also earn a ball with diamond patterns on it by reaching "Pro" level. You get to this level by improving your scores over time.
91-Pin Strike Cheat
During the last round of the "Power Bowling" mode, roll your ball right on the rail so that it hugs the rail all the way down the lane. If it does not fall off before the end of the lane, you will hear a click and explosion sound. All of the pins will fall down to earn you a 91-pin strike.
