Things You'll Need
Instructions
Insert your SD card into the Wii's card reader, located just below the disc drive. Your Wii console should recognize the SD card almost immediately. This can be checked by clicking on the Wii settings and clicking on the SD card in the corner. Make sure that your Wii console is completely turned on before inserting the SD card.
Click on the Wii Settings icon on the bottom left of the Wii menu using the Wii remote. From there you can click on Data Management, Save Data and finally select the Wii tab to bring up all the Save Data currently on the Wii console.
Select the file or files you wish to copy and click Copy. A small popup menu will come up asking you to save to the SD card. Select yes to do so. Exit the menu to return to the Wii home screen.
Eject the SD card by simply pulling it out of the Wii console. You can now take this to any other Wii console and begin to transfer your saved game files. Do so by inserting the SD card into the new Wii console.
Click on the Wii settings icon in the lower left corner of the Wii home screen. This will once again take you to the screen where you can click on Data management, then Save Data and choose Wii.
Proceed to click the SD card tab to show all the compatible save data files on the SD card. Select the file or files you want to copy over and select Copy. Once again, a small popup screen will ask you to confirm your copy and select Yes. This will copy the save data to the Wii's memory.
Exit to the Wii's home screen and eject the SD card. Once it is ejected, proceed to the Wii Settings screen, click Data Management and display the Save Data. Confirm that your files copied over safely and proceed to play.
