How to Add a Second Player in Super Mario Galaxy

"Super Mario Galaxy" has a co-star mode that allows a second player to enter the game at any time. Player one stays in control of Mario as usual, but the second player is able to point at the screen with a second Wii remote and help out player one. Player two can shoot Star Bits at enemies, hold them still and help Mario jump higher. To add the second player to the game you need to have a second Wii remote synchronized to your console.

Instructions

    • 1

Start "Super Mario Galaxy" and load a game file. Play the game normally with player one's Wii remote and nunchuck controller.

    • 2

Turn on a second Wii remote that is synchronized with the console and press "A".

    • 3

Point the second Wii remote at the screen and a star icon will appear. This indicates that player two is now active in the game and where he is aiming on the screen.
