How to Hook Up an Analog Wii to a HI Def Plasma TV

The Nintendo Wii is a motion-controlled gaming system released on Nov. 19, 2006. Unlike other comparable systems such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii is not a high-definition console and supports only standard AV (audio/video) and component video connections. Most HDTVs support both AV and component connections. A component connections looks best on an HDTV; they get the most out of the Wii's graphics quality (480i for the HDTVs that support interlacing). Wii component cables are not included with the Wii.
