How to Make Luigi Run Faster in Mario Galaxy

"Super Mario Galaxy" was released for the Nintendo Wii in 2007. In addition to playing as Mario, you can also play as Mario's brother, Luigi. The controls are the same no matter which character you play as. "Super Mario Galaxy" uses analog controls, so the speed that Luigi moves in is dependent on how you use the analog stick on the Wii Nunchuk. There are a few moves that Luigi can perform only while running.

     Gently push the Analog Stick up on the Nunchuk to make Luigi walk.

     Push the Analog Stick up as far as it can go to make Luigi run.

     Release the Analog Stick to stop running. Luigi will slide forward before coming to a complete stop.

     Push down on the Analog Stick while running and press "A" to perform a Somersault Jump.

   • 5

     Press and hold "Z" followed by "A" while running to perform a Long Jump.
