Hula-Hoop
The Hula-Hoop exercise requires you to multitask. Not only must you swivel your hips to keep the hoops spinning, but you must lean your body to the left or right to catch more hoops and improve your score. Watch the avatars in front of your character to the left and right. When one shakes a Hula-Hoop up and down, that means she's about to throw you another hoop. Be prepared to lean in that direction to catch it.
Jogging
You can take short and long jobs around "Wii Fit Island," passing virtual waterfalls and mountains along the way. This exercise requires you to step off the balance board and either hold the Wii remote or put it in your pocket. (You can also cheat and simply shake the remote up and down to "run.") The goal in this exercise is not to run as fast as you can. Instead, you must keep a steady rhythm behind the lead runner to get the highest scores.
Rhythmic Boxing
The rhythmic boxing exercise uses the balance board, the Wii remote and the nunchuk. Hold the remote and nunchuk in your left and right hands as if you were about to box and follow the patterns of the instructor, mixing in punching and stepping on and off the board. The key to getting the highest score here is what you do during the last 10 seconds of the activity. You get to swing freely at the punching bag, so punch with the nunchuk and Wii remote as quickly as possible to boost your score.
Ski Slalom
Lean to the left and the right to make your skier travel between the blue and red gates in the ski slalom exercise. Every gate you miss costs you a seven-second penalty so you must be perfect to get the best scores. Lean forward to increase your speed during the beginning when there is greater distance between gates, but slow up toward the end when you must slide left and right to hit all of the gates.
