How to Add More Games to Mario Kart

One of the many great features of "Mario Kart Wii" is the ability to unlock new characters, vehicles and race courses by accomplishing certain tasks in the game. Four new racing Cup game modes are unlocked only by winning trophies in other Cups. Pick out your favorite racer and watch out for Funky Kong's banana peels, because only pure racing skill will unlock these new game modes. The Star, Special, Leaf and Lightning Cup races can be unlocked.

Instructions

- 1
  Earn a gold, silver or bronze trophy in both the Flower oand Mushroom cups to unlock the Star Cup. The Star Cup features all new race tracks, including Grumble Volcano and Koopa Cape.

  Place first, second or third in the Star Cup to get access to the Special Cup. Along with the Mushroom, Flower and Star Cups, the Special Cup contains four tracks exclusive to "Mario Kart Wii."

  Finish in one of the top three spots in the Banana Cup and Shell Cup to get the Leaf Cup. The Leaf Cup revives classic racetracks from previous Mario Kart games, like DK's Jungle Parkway as seen in "Mario Kart 64."
- 4
  Complete the Leaf Cup with a trophy to open the final set of races, the Lightning Cup. Some of the old-school tracks in the Lightning Cup are Mario Circuit 3 and Bowser's Castle.
