How to Install Wii Wad Manager

The Nintendo Wii is not only an excellent game machine, but by soft-modding a Wii and using the HomeBrew Channel, users can add a number of new and interesting functions to their Wii. By installing the WAD Manager for the Wii, it is possible to add additional channels to the main Wii menu for easier access to the programs or games you use most. Installing the WAD Manager onto your Wii is a simple process that will only take around 15 minutes.

Things You'll Need

Nintendo Wii with HomeBrew Channel installed
SD card
Computer with SD card reader

Instructions

  Download the WAD Manager program. (See References.)

  Insert the Wii's SD card into your computer.

  Double-click the downloaded WAD Manager file to unzip it and copy and paste all files to the root folder of the SD card.

  Remove the SD card from the computer and insert it into the Nintendo Wii.

  Turn on the Nintendo Wii and navigate to the HomeBrew Channel.

  Press the "A" button when prompted to install the WAD Manager and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
