How to Use the Wii SanDisk Mod

The Nintendo Wii does not have a large amount of storage space, and the online store is rather limited for acquiring games, so you may want to look towards the SanDisk SD card modification. This is a specially designed storage device that allows you to transport information between different Nintendo Wii's and even your computer. Doing so ensures you always have your save games, regardless of your location.

  Connect a USB cable from an SD card reader into a USB port on your computer. Insert the SanDisk Nintendo Wii card in the open card slot.

  Click "Start" and "Computer," and then double-click the removable-device icon. This opens a window with information stored on the Nintendo device.

  Upload images or other game play information to the open window by clicking and dragging the files from your computer into the open window. Once in place close the removable device window, right-click the icon and choose "Eject."

  Insert the SanDisk Nintendo Wii SD card in the memory card slot on the Wii and power on the device. When the main menu loads, select the memory unit to view all saved information. From here you can select pictures to view, movie files to watch, or save games to play, just by aiming your Wii remote at the desired selection and pressing the "A" button.
