Difference Between Wii Fit & Bundles

In 2008, the Nintendo Wii gaming system released Wii Fit, beginning the trend for fitness video gaming. Nintendo later released Wii Fit Plus, an upgrade to the original Wii Fit. Playing the Wii Fit game requires the use of a balance board and Wii remote. There are four main ways the Wii Fit is sold.

Wii Fit Bundle
- Released in May 2008, the Wii Fit Bundle comes with the Wii Fit Balance Board and "Wii Fit" game package. "Wii Fit" has strength training, yoga, aerobics and balance games.
"Wii Fit" Game
- If you already own the Wii Fit balance board, the "Wii Fit" game can purchased alone. It can also be purchased as a second copy or replacement copy.
Wii Fit Plus Bundle
- Released in October 2009, the Wii Fit Plus Bundle comes with the Wii Fit Balance Board and "Wii Fit Plus" game. "Wii Fit Plus" has the same games as the Wii Fit, plus 15 new training plus games. Combined it has over 60 fitness games, including strength training, yoga, aerobics and balance games.
"Wii Fit Plus" Game
- If you bought the Wii Fit before Wii Fit Plus came out and would like to upgrade, the "Wii Fit Plus" game can be purchased by itself.
