Download ImgBurn software from their official website. The software is free and only takes a few minutes to install. Follow the on-screen prompts for installation directions.
Download the Wii Scrubber software -- no installation is required. This software enables you to read Wii data files. Click on the "Load ISO" icon, choose the Wii game you want to burn to DVD+R and press "OK." Wait for the software to read and load the files.
Click on the expansion icon in the second partition of the ISO. Look for a file labeled "Main.dol." Right-click on this file and select "Extract." Save the extracted file to your desktop and click "OK." Minimize the application.
Download and open the "Generic Wii Patcher" software. Double-click on the software icon. Click the "Open" icon in the top-right corner. Select the "Main.dol" file from your desktop and click "OK."
Click on the "Search" icon under "Error-001 Fix." Then click the "Remove 001" error. Repeat this process with the "Error-002 Fix" icon. Click "Save" and then exit out of the "Generic Wii Patcher."
Go back to the Wii Scrubber application. Right-click on the "Mail.dol" file again and select "Replace." Choose the "Main.dol" file from your desktop, click "OK" and wait for the Wii Scrubber to add to your ISO.
Insert a blank DVD+R disc and load the ImgBurn software. Click on the "Load ISO" icon and select the Wii game ISO.
Select 2.4x the speed. If you burn the game any faster, errors will occur and the game will be unplayable.
Click on the "Burn" icon at the bottom of the software. View the progress bar to see how long the project will take.
Insert the game disc into your Wii console when the burning completes.
Load the "Homebrew Channel" from the main Wii menu. Click on the "Backup Launcher" application.
Go to the "Config Options." Select "Yes" for "Search for Patches." Change the hook type to "VBI." Return to the main menu and select "Load Game from DVD." Wait for the game to load.
