How to Troubleshoot an Activision Wireless Guitar for Rock Band for Wii

Most Activision "Guitar Hero" wireless guitar controllers can be used to play the Wii version of "Rock Band." Excepting the "Guitar Hero III" Les Paul and "Guitar Hero World Tour" Stratocaster controllers, any Activision wireless guitar is compatible with the Wii. These controllers connect to the console using the Wii remote. Issues with guitar controller functionality are typically due to malfunction of the Wii remote.

Things You'll Need
