How to Turn Off the WiiConnect24 on a Wii 3.3E

The Nintendo Wii is a video game console that was released by Nintendo in 2006. It is one of the first Nintendo consoles to have the ability to go online and shop for games, check news, view the weather and play games with other players. This is all possible because of WiiConnect24, a feature that is used to keep the console constantly updated and always on. If you would prefer to turn this feature off, you will be pleased to know this is easy to do.

Instructions

  Turn on your Nintendo Wii and press "A" on the Wii controller when prompted.

  Click the "Wii Options" button located at the bottom left corner of the home screen.

  Click "Wii Settings" and click the arrow pointing to the right to be taken to the second page of the "Wii System Settings" menu.

  Click "WiiConnect24" and click "WiiConnect24" on the following page.

  Click "Off" and select "Continue" to turn off WiiConnect24. You will now have turned off WiiConnect24 on your Wii 3.3E.
