How to Connect a Wii to XP

Many people are not aware of this, but you can use your Wii remote for gaming on your Windows XP PC. This can make your gaming experience a bit easier. Your computer must have Bluetooth capability for this to work because Wii uses Bluetooth technology for its controllers. Bluetooth cards can be added to your computer if you do not already have one.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the Glove PIE home page, and download their program.

    • 2

      Open "Bluetooth Control Panel."

    • 3

Press "1" and "2" on your Wii remote while clicking "Add" in the "Bluetooth Control Panel."

    • 4

Open "Glove PIE" on your PC, and click "Detect Output to Emulate."

    • 5

Choose "Keyboard," and select "Detect Input."

    • 6

Configure the commands for your Wiimote. Choose a key on the left side of the window, and click on the "Wiimote 1," such as the "Right" or "Left" button.

    • 7

Push the key on the Wiimote that you have chosen on the screen, and click "Apply."

    • 8

      Repeat for each command.
