How to Download into Rock Band 2 on a Wii

Insert your SD memory card into your Wii. You will hear a "click" noise when it is fully inserted.

Put your "Rock Band 2" disk into the Wii CD slot. This should automatically activate your Wii. If it does not, turn on your Wii.

Access the Wii Shop Channel. Because the Wii channels are customizable, you might have moved its location. The default location is in the middle row of the first screen.

Verify that you have points assigned to your Wii. If you do not have points, you will not be able to make any song purchases. You can assign more points to your Wii by purchasing a Wii Points Card. You can also buy them directly using a credit card. The Wii Shop Channel does not store credit card information.

Exit the Wii Shop Channel and load "Rock Band 2."

Select "Music Store" from the opening menu. This will be the last option listed on your menu. It might take a few seconds to load.

Choose the song you want to download from the listed options. Confirm you wish to purchase the song when asked.

Select whether you want to download the song to your Wii system memory or the inserted SD memory card. It might take several minutes to complete your download.

Exit the store, and enter play mode to confirm a successful download.
