Navigate to the File Trip website and click on "Download" to save WAD Manager to your computer. Extract the file to a directory on your computer.
Navigate to the Wii WADS, My Custom VC WADS or the Cooga website to browse for Nintendo WAD channels or custom WAD channels. You need to register at the Cooga website to download the WAD files. Extract the .WAD files to a directory on your computer from their zip or rar archive.
Put an SD card into the computer and access the SD card to format it by right-clicking on the SD card and choosing "Format" from the submenu. Click on the box "FAT32" and "Quick Format" to format the SD card to be used with the Wii console.
Create a new folder on the root of the SD card and name it "Apps." Create another new folder on the root of the SD card and name it "WADS."
Copy the WAD Manager program to the "Apps" folder on your SD card and copy the WADS to the WAD folder on the SD card.
Insert the SD card into the Wii and go to the Homebrew Channel. Launch the channel by pressing "A" on "Start."
Browse for the WAD Manager application and press "A" on "Load" to start the program.
Use the directional pad to cycle to "Install WAD" and press "A."
Use the directional pad to cycle to "SD card" and press "A."
Use the directional pad to cycle to the WAD file you would like to install and press "A" to install the WAD channel to your Wii. The WAD installation process may take a few minutes depending on the size of the WAD file. Do not restart your Wii console during this process.
