Things You'll Need
Instructions
Power on your Wii system, and then insert the "Rock Band 3" disc into your Wii's disc slot.
Insert batteries into the battery slot of the Wii keyboard controller. Once the batteries are inserted, press the red "Sync" button on the back of the keyboard controller. Then, push the sync button on the front of the Wii system. This will sync your keyboard controller to your Wii system.
Select "Single Player," and then select "Keyboard." If you are just starting out on the keyboard, you'll want to select the "Easy" difficulty option. The easy option uses only five keys on the keyboard, and will help you become familiar with using the keyboard, as well as with note names and basic timings. As you grow more skilled, you should move up the difficulty options. When you feel confident in your abilities, choose "Pro" difficulty to try playing the unaltered keyboard sections of popular songs. Playing at "Pro" difficulty level is exactly the same as playing a real keyboard, and will require an intimate understanding of key locations, note names and note timings. By continuing to practice at the "Pro" difficulty level, you can begin to become proficient at playing the piano.
