How to Get Saved Game Files on to a Wii

A feature available on the Wii is that the system utilizes an SD card (the most common removable storage) for game saves. If you're leaving your Wii at home while visiting a friend's house with another Wii, you can bring your SD card with you to share your saved games or build onto them.

Instructions

      Power down the Wii unit by pressing and holding the power button on any active controller or the Wii itself.

      Flip open the SD slot on the front of the Wii, located near the disc slot.

      Press in on the SD card. You will feel it click.

    • 4

      Pull the SD card out of the slot.

    • 5

      Insert the SD card into another Wii system to pull up the saved files.
