Click the "Wii" button in the bottom left corner of the screen to open the Wii options menu.
Click "Wii Settings."
Click the arrow button.
Click "Internet."
Click "Connection Settings."
Click on a "Connection" button.
Click "Wireless Connection."
Click "Search for an Access Point" and click the "OK" button. Click on an available access point. Enter a password if prompted. Click "OK" twice.
Click "Yes." Click "I Accept." Click "OK."
Click "Wii Shop Channel" in the Wii menu. Click "Virtual Console." Click "Wii Points" to purchase Wii points with a credit card or redeem a Wii points card.
Browse the virtual console catalog for the Nintendo 64 game of your choosing. Click the game. Click "Download" to download the game to your Wii or an SD card.
Connect a classic controller or GameCube controller and click the Nintendo 64 game in the Wii menu to play it.
Wired Internet
Connect the Wii LAN adapter to your Wii and a broadband modem or wired router via an Ethernet cable with the Wii turned off. Turn on the Wii.
Click the Wii icon.
Click "Wii Settings."
Click the arrow button.
Click "Internet."
Click "Connection Settings."
Click "Connection 1."
Click "Wired Connection." Click "OK."
Click "Wii Shop Channel" in the Wii menu and click "Virtual Console."
Click "Wii Points" to purchase Wii points with a credit card or redeem a Wii points card.
