How to Convert Videos to the Right Format to Play on a Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii console can play media files, including videos, that are saved on an SD or SDHC card. The Nintendo Wii is compatible with MOV and AVI formatted video files. You can convert a video file, such as a DIVX or XVID, to one of these compatible formats. Once converted, just insert the memory card into your computer and save the file. Then insert the card into the Wii's memory card slot and select the "Photo Channel" from the Wii menu. All movies saved on your memory card will be listed.
