How Do You Activate Star Power in Wii Guitar Hero?

In the Nintendo Wii game "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock," there is a feature called "Star Power," which can be achieved by playing specified strings of notes accurately. Once you have Star Power, you get extra points for every note that is played correctly. Any errors you make will not be counted against you during this time. Star Power generally lasts for about 15 seconds.

      Choose a song and start the game.

      Play until you see a string of notes that are shaped as blue stars, instead of their normal colors. Play these notes with 100% accuracy and you will be eligible for Star Power.

      Lift and lower the neck of the guitar quickly. The motion detector in the Wii Remote, which is inserted into the front of the guitar before gameplay, will activate Star Power for a set amount of notes (depending on the song).
