How to Get a Bounty Hunter Character in Lego Star Wars for Wii

The "Lego Star Wars" games by Traveler's Tales re-create the stories of the "Star Wars" movies using Lego bricks and minifigs. When "Lego Star Wars" was released for the Nintendo Wii, it was the "Complete Saga" version, which combined the two previous games and let players enjoy all six "Star Wars" movies. In addition to playing the main storyline, players can go back and unlock additional items using other characters; some areas can't be accessed without the proper character type. One example of this is the bounty hunter characters, who have the ability to blow up otherwise indestructible objects.

Instructions

    • 1

Begin playing "Lego Star Wars" on the "Episode I" levels if you have not already done so. You do not have to complete all of the "Episode I" levels, but you cannot access other "Episode" levels until you have started "Episode I."

    • 2

Collect Lego studs in the levels and in the cantina setting. You need to have at least 27,500 studs so that you can purchase the first character of the "Bounty Hunter" class that is available to you.

    • 3

Enter the "Episode II" room and begin the first mission, "Bounty Hunter Pursuit." The mission is a flying mission in which you chase another vehicle through the sprawling city world of Coruscant. The mission is broken up into five sections, with sections 1 and 3 focused on the pursuit while avoiding gunfire and sections 2 and 4 focused on disabling force fields that are activated to be in your way. Section 5 is a battle against Zam Wesell's airspeeder vehicle; stay behind the airspeeder and shoot it until you drain all of its hearts to complete the mission.

    • 4

Return to the main cantina room after completing the first mission of "Episode II." Walk up to the bar and talk to the bartender; a menu will appear behind him that shows you the unlockables and bonuses you can purchase with your Lego studs. Choose the "Characters" option.

    • 5

Scroll through the "Characters" silhouettes and find the character named "Zam Wesell." Purchase this character, unlocking her for use in "Free Play" mode. Since Zam Wessell is a bounty hunter, she can access any rooms that are "bounty hunter"-only and can also throw bombs that destroy the otherwise indestructible silver objects you find in missions.
