Wii Fit Game Directions

"Wii Fit" is an exercise video game for the Nintendo Wii console released in America in 2008. The game was introduced alongside the Wii balance board, a device that makes many of the "Wii Fit's" exercises possible. The video game includes a range of exercises, including strength training, balance games and aerobics. Blending exercise with mini-games, "Wii Fit" offers you the chance to lose weight and get healthy while heading soccer balls, rhythm boxing or even ski jumping.

Instructions

  1. Basic Step

    • 1

Step your left foot onto the balance board when the left foot icon appears in the red box on the screen. The better your timing, the bigger score you will get for each step.

    • 2

Place your right foot on the balance board when the right foot appears in the box.

    • 3

Stand with both feet on the balance board when both feet are in the red box.

    Soccer Heading

    • 4

Lean to the right, left and stay central on the balance board to head the soccer balls that are thrown at you by the Mii characters. The more soccer balls you make contact with, the more points you get for the round.

    • 5

Lean away to dodge any soccer boots that are thrown your way, as they will reduce your points if they hit you.

    • 6

Avoid panda heads, as they take away points if they hit you. These are trickier to evade as they are black and white, so from a distance they can look like soccer balls.

    Rhythm Boxing

    • 7

Watch the trainer throw a combination of punches at his punching bag; he also steps on and off the balance board at the same time. Remember his combination of moves.

    • 8

Step on and off the balance board in the order that the instructions on the right side of the screen are showing; this is the same combination the trainer demonstrated.

    • 9

Hold the Wii remote in your right hand and nunchuck in your left. Throw the punches that are being instructed on the right side of the screen. Again, these are the same punches that the trainer showed you.

    • 10

Wait for the target to appear on the punch bag before you throw a punch or you will be punching prematurely and lose out on points.

    Ski Jump

    • 11

Stand on the balance board, and then crouch down.

    • 12

Lean forward but stay centered on the board as you slide down the ski slope.

    • 13

Keep your circle in the center of the cross-section; this means you are well balanced and helps you build up speed.

    • 14

Stand up quickly and lean forward slightly when you reach the red zone; this will cause your character to jump off the ski slope. The faster you ski and the later you jump will increase your distance.
