Obtain a box that fits the Wii Fit and allows for packaging supplies. As of January 2011, the size of a Wii Fit box is 20.5 by 13.2 by 3.1 inches and weighs approximately 10 lb.
Wrap the Wii Fit with bubble wrap or package it with newspaper or packing peanuts. Shake the box to ensure the package does not shift. Use clear or brown 2-inch packaging tape to seal the box and reinforce the seams.
Prepare the box for shipping by placing a mailing label to the top. This label may be pr-eprinted or blank. If the label is pre-printed, adhere it to the top of the box. If the label is blank, write the shipping and return address with a black marker. Make sure the address is legible
Go to your local Post Office and have the package weighed. Depending on the shipping contents, the package should weight approximately 11 lb.
Determine the best method for shipping. The USPS has many options for shipping packages. Express Mail guarantees overnight delivery while Parcel Post is a ground delivery service for small and large packages. Unfortunately, the Priority Mail does not have a box large enough to ship with Wii Fit.
Pay the postage for the package. If you are sending the package by Express Mail, you can print your own postage using the USPS website. If you are shipping by Parcel Post, you must ship the package at your local Post Office.
Purchase Insured Mail and Delivery Confirmation to protect yourself in the event your package is lost or stolen.
Mail your package at the Post Office or by requesting a carrier pick up. If you request a carrier pick up, a postal worker will pick up the package from your home or business. You can request a carrier pickup online through the USPS website.
