In "Endless Ocean: Blue World," the second game in the deep-sea diving series for Nintendo Wii, you explore a variety of oceans and waterways as you hunt for the world's greatest lost treasures. During your adventure, you will come across many undersea creatures, such as sharks, tropical fish and dolphins. If you find a friendly sea animal, you can pet, or stroke, the creature to interact with it. Interacting with animals allows you to add their information to the Guide to Marine Life.

Swim underwater until you locate a creature you wish to befriend, such as a dolphin.

Focus on the creature by pressing the "A" button on the Wii remote. If "???" is displayed, you have not interacted with the animal previously, and must befriend it to obtain more information.

Swim up to the creature and hover your cursor over it. Hold down the "A" button and shake the Wii remote to pet and stroke it.
