Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unplug the power supply from the wall and from the console. Turn it over and look for four screws on the bottom.
Cut a slit in the top of each screw with the Dremel tool, then remove the screws with the flat tip screwdriver.
Pry the top and bottom half of the power supply apart using the screwdriver, then lift the insides out. The board is not attached to the outside of the power supply.
Locate the fuse at one end of the power supply control board. It is a small black box with 2.5A 250V printed on top.
Test the fuse with your multimeter by touching both probes to the pins underneath. If it reads 0 ohms, the fuse is still good and does not need to be replaced.
Plug in your soldering iron and allow it to heat up. Detach the fuse by heating the solder on the bottom of the board with the tip of the soldering iron. The fuse should come off easily once the solder is melted.
Replace the burned out fuse with another fuse of the same rating.
Place the power supply board back into the housing and screw it back together.
