How to Unlock the Purple Coin Stars

In the game "Super Mario Galaxy" for the Nintendo Wii, you play as Mario, traveling from galaxy to galaxy battling foes in order to reach Bowser and defeat him. Once you have beaten Bowser, you will be able to get purple coin stars.

Instructions

      Collect 60 coin stars, which you will need to reach Bowser in the final galaxy.

      Defeat Bowser in the final galaxy by dodging his attacks and fighting back. After you have defeated him, a purple comet will appear in the sky, unlocking the purple coin challenges.

      Go the the purple gateway galaxy and play through the challenges in order to get purple coin stars.
