How to Use the GameCube Disk With a Wii

The Nintendo GameCube was officially released in 2001 and marked the transition for Nintendo from using game cartridges to optical disks. The GameCube was also the predecessor to the Nintendo Wii. If you still have GameCube disks you wish to play, the Nintendo Wii was designed to be backward-compatible with Nintendo GameCube and you use GameCube disks similar to how you use Wii discs.
