How to Upgrade to Wii Fit

In order to play "Wii Fit" on your Nintendo Wii, you're going to have to purchase the necessary game and equipment from an electronics retailer. Everything that you need, including the Wii Fit game disc and board controller, comes in a single package that retails for about $100 as of January 2011. Then you have to properly connect all the included devices to your Wii in order to get the game to run.

  Flip over your Wii board controller so you can see the bottom. Here you will see a battery compartment. Insert the four AA batteries that came with your Wii Fit into this compartment. Do not flip your Wii board controller back over.

  Turn on your Nintendo Wii console. Put your "Wii Fit" game disc into your Wii. Your Wii fit game disc will load.

  Press the "Sync" button located on the bottom of your Wii Fit board controller, inside the battery compartment. Once you press this button, replace the battery cover and turn the board controller back over.

  Press the "Sync" button on the front of your Wii. This is the same sync button you use to sync controllers. Once you've done this, your "Wii Fit" is properly installed on your Nintendo Wii game console.
