How to Get Wii Demos

Download free demos to your Nintendo Wii to enhance your gaming experience. Through the Wii Shop Channel, you can download classic Virtual Console titles, purchase Wii points or download other available channels. You can also search, browse and download WiiWare demos for free from the Wii Shop Channel. Access the Wii Shop Channel through the console's wireless network connection.

Instructions

  Power on your television and Wii system. The Wii menu loads.

  Select the "Wii Shop Channel" from the Wii menu. Press the "Start" button to enter the channel. The Wii Shop Channel page loads.

  Select the "Start Shopping" button from the bottom of the screen. A new page loads.

  Click the "WiiWare" button, and then select the "Search by Genre" button from the page that loads.

  Select "Demos."

  Scroll down the page to browse all the demo titles available.

  Click on a title to select it. The demo's details page loads.

  Click the "Free 0 Wii Points" button.

  Select "Wii System Memory" to download the game to your Wii's hard drive. Select "SD Card" to download the demo to an SD card, if you have one.

  Click the "OK" button on the Selection Confirmation page to begin the download. The demo is available as a channel on the Wii menu once the download is complete.
