How to Play ISO on a Wii

The Wii is a console gaming and multimedia-watching device made by Nintendo. It was first released in 2006. It has controllers that not only feature the typical movement-pad and control buttons of a gaming controller, but also allows users to rotate and move it around to command what is going on in their Wii game. Playing ISO (International Organization for Standardization) files on your Wii requires downloading them from the Internet and burning them to DVD-R discs on your computer.

  Open your Web browser by double-clicking its icon with your mouse. Find a Wii ISO file that you want to play on your Wii, such as "Wario Land Shake It ISO file," at Wiiiso, Filestube, or Rapidshare. Download your ISO file to your computer's desktop. If there are multiple files that came with your download, find the file that has ".iso" attached to the end of its text description below its icon. This is the file that contains your game.

  Download software that burns ISO files to discs at Imgburn, NTFS or CNET. Install the software on your computer.

  Find your "Wario Land Shake It.iso" file on your computer's desktop. Right-click it with your mouse, highlight the ISO software of your choice, such as "ImgBurn," and click it with your mouse to open it. Open your computer's disc drive. Insert a blank DVD-R disc into your disc drive and close it. Your ISO-burning program will now prepare to burn your file onto your DVD.

  Burn your ISO file onto the DVD. Most ISO-burning programs follow similar steps to ImgBurn, in which the bottom left-corner text of your ImgBurn window will change from "Device Not Ready (Logical Unit is in Process of Becoming Ready)" to "Ready" when the program is ready to burn your file to your DVD. Click the image with a disc on top of a text document followed by an arrow pointing to a disc in the bottom-left corner of your window. This starts the initial burning of your ISO file to your DVD. Wait for your computer's disc drive to finish the initial burning and pop out your DVD. A message will appear prompting you to put the DVD back into the disc drive. Put the DVD back into the disc drive before clicking the "OK" button inside the prompting message. Your ISO file will now finish burning to the DVD. Wait for another prompting window that reads "Operation Successfully Completed!" Your ISO file is now ready to be played. Remove it from your computer's disc drive. Open your software's attached "Read-Me" text file on your desktop with your mouse or click "Help" under your program's menu files with your mouse to find your software's specific instructions on how to burn ISO files onto DVD.

  Power on your Nintendo Wii and put your DVD-R in its disc drive. Close the disc drive to load your DVD-R and play your ISO file on your Wii.
