How to Get Preloader 0.26 to Work for a Wii

Preloader 0.26 is a Wii homebrew system application that is launched before the Wii system menu. Preloader 0.26 allows you to change system settings and also protects you against your Wii ever bricking from installing the wrong homebrew or system changes to your Wii. Preloader is launched from the SD card through the Homebrew Channel. The Homebrew Channel is required to be installed before Preloader can be installed on your Wii console.

Instructions

  Launch the Homebrew Channel from your Wii by pressing "A" on the Homebrew Channel entry and pressing "A" on the "Start" button.

  Browse for the Preloader 0.26 Installer and press "A" to open the channel. Press "A" on "Load" to launch the application.

  Change system settings by pressing "A" on System Menu Hacks and pressing "A" on the corresponding setting to change. Change the setting to your desired liking and press "A" to save the setting. Settings that can be changed are automatically pressing "A" on the Health Screen, block disc updates, no system-menu background music, block online updates, no system-menu audio and region-free everything.
