How to Upload Images to the Wii

If you have an SD card, you can upload photos to your Wii console using "Photo Channel." SD cards are used to save content on digital cameras, cell phones and computers.The Wii console accepts SD, SDHC and miniSD cards. The "Photo Channel" allows you to use your Wii console to display, edit and doodle the photos you load onto your Wii through an SD card.

      Open the "SD Card" slot cover on the front of your Wii. Insert the SD card in the slot until it clicks into position. Turn on your Wii.

      Select the Photo Channel on the Wii Menu. Point the Wii Remote at the "Photo Channel" icon, and press the "A" button. A new window opens.

      Select the source of the photos you would like to upload and view. Use your "Wii Remote" to choose "Digital Camera/Cell Phone." View the photographs on the SD card. Scroll through your photos by clicking on the "Next" and "Previous" buttons on the screen.

      Save photos from your SD card on the Wii console. To do this, post a photo from your SD card to the Wii "Message Board." Display your photos in full-screen mode by pointing to the "Zoom" tab on the screen. Select "Post" underneath the photo. Choose "Post to the Wii Message Board" to save your photo.
