How to Use the Wii Console to Show Digital Pictures

The Nintendo Wii, much like other seventh generation gaming consoles, allows the player to view digital pictures by using the console's menus. However, unlike the other consoles, the Wii accepts SD cards for the transmission of digital content. As long as you have an SD card with digital pictures, you can easily view them on your Wii.

      Open the SD card slot cover on the front of your console. Insert the SD card face up into the slot, and replace the slot cover.

      Turn on the Wii. Select the "Wii Photo Channel" option from the main menu; then select "Start."

      Select "SD Card" from the Photo Channel's main menu, and you will see thumbnail images of all picture files on the SD card.

      Select a picture thumbnail to view the full-sized version of the picture.
