How to Change the Wii Fit BMI Weight Goal

The Wii Fit is a game available for the Wii gaming system that focuses on exercise and weight loss. After you create your Mii and personal profile, Wii Fit does a body analysis measuring your body mass index, weight, balance and age. You decide on a BMI goal and determine how long it will take you to meet your goal. Then the training begins. With the help of computerized personal trainers and the sensors in the Wii balance board, you are on your way to reaching your ideal BMI.

Instructions

Change your BMI goal after the initial two week period. Do this at any point after your first two weeks have past, no matter how many weeks you initially chose for your goal. Access your Mii profile page with your BMI and weight charts. Take the body test and choose to change your goal when prompted.

    • 2

Choose a new goal before the two-week period by making a dramatic change in your weight. Take the body test and hold a heavy object, such as a baby, book or free weights, while you are standing on the balance board for the BMI weight test. Or, make your weight smaller by leaning onto a nearby object or have someone who weighs significantly less than you stand on the balance board in your place.

Wii Fit will prompt you to make a new goal because you have either gained a substantial amount of weight or met your weight loss goal. Choose to make a new goal for your profile. Take the body test again by standing on the balance board. Create a new BMI weight goal for yourself. Change your goal as often as you need.
