Press the "Eject" button on your Wii console to eject your "Cooking Mama: World Kitchen" CD.
Turn off the Wii to give it time to rest and reboot.
Ensure the Wii is positioned properly if you have it placed horizontally. The CD slot should be located on the top of the console with the buttons below it.
Inspect the bottom of the "Cooking Mama: World Kitchen" CD for dirt.
Use a damp cotton cloth to clean the CD by gently wiping the CD from the inside rim to the outside rim. You should only use plain water to clean the CD.
Dry the "Cooking Mama: World Kitchen" CD with a dry part of the cotton cloth by stroking the CD from the inside rim to the outside rim.
Allow the CD to sit for two minutes in order to dry completely.
Inspect the cleaned CD for scratches. Minor scratches should not cause a read error. However, deep scratches can cause game errors and may require professional resurfacing to fix.
Insert the "Cooking Mama: World Kitchen" CD properly into the Wii console. If your Wii is standing upright, the CD label should face the right side. If your Wii is sitting horizontally, the CD label should face up.
Turn on the Wii console and allow it to load. When the console properly reads the CD, the left corner channel will give you the option to play "Cooking Mama: World Kitchen."
